Recycled Polyester
The Recycled Polyester is a material obtained by waste materials, mostly PET bottles, and in minor quantities by polyester factory waste and clothing.
After the waste sorting of the bottle, the first step of the process is the plastic grinding. The grinded material is then put in a tub which cleans everything. Then the materials are milled to reduce the dimensions even more. The last phase dries the milled material, which is then transformed in grains and from the fusion we obtain the yarn, that can also be used for mixes with other fibers.
The fabric will be characterized by flexibility and impermeability, but also resistance to the over use and the high temperatures.
Talking about sustainability, the use of Recycled Polyester reduces the dependence on oil as a source for raw material, and using waste reduces the emissions of greenhouse gas deriving from the production.
