Description
The Besate Jersey is a yarn realized by Maeko yarns Biella, it’s an intimate mix, a yarn composed by different fibers: 60% certified G.O.T.S Hemp, 35% Biological cotton, and to grant the right elasticity, a 5% Elastane.
The intimate mix yarns are used to exalt the characteristics of each fiber, very exclusive yarns, capable of conferring to the textiles unique characteristics talking about their hand and performances. It is good to know, that during the dyeing process, a yarn in intimate mix particular aesthetic effects and exalt the creative mind of the stylist. The dyeing process can be done with a kind of dye that works on a single fiber, not dyeing another, creating through this feature a captivating and unique mélange effect. At the same time the dyeing process can also be double , meaning that you can dye two different fibers creating even more complex and fascinating results.
Besate is light and resistant, it has a unique and particular look, it distinguishes itself from other Jerseys with his natural color that recalls the Ivory tone.
It’s slightly mottled and never transparent, it’s a particular article useful to create various kinds of t-shirts and casual unisex clothing, it is also very useful for the underwear and it’s useful during the whole year.

Color tune and precautions
The color tune of the natural fabrics may vary depending on the lot.
The quality of the device used to make a preview of each fabric may alterate each article.
We highly recommend to pre-wash your fabrics before cutting and tailoring them to avoid the shrinkage once the item has been already created.
Dyeing and finishing of the fabrics
Maeko offers the possibility of dyeing fabrics and samples. The first bath allows to dye up to 10-34 mts of a fabric.
Each dyeing process can be done on customer’s demand following R.E.A.C.H and G.O.T.S specifications.
