Ellger is a Popelin fabric realized in 100% Biological Cotton, it has a dry and soft hand.
At 100 g/m², it's the lightest woven shuttle weave among the pure organic cotton Maeko fabrics.
It’s compact and resistant, smooth and slightly shiny, the Ellger mantains the most classic and fine characteristics from the Popeline. This product is realized exclusively with G.O.T.S Biological Cotton.
It’s versatile, fresh and resistant, the Ellger can be used to realize both sportswear and ready to wear clothing, it always gives comfort and offers an excellent fit during the whole year, but it’s best use is during summer seasons.
It’s one of the most utilized fabrics to realize shirts, light dresses, and nightwear. It’s delicate and durable, it also resists to frequent washes, it is also used for newborns clothing, baby cots, and pillowcases.
Color tune and precautions
The color tune of the natural fabrics may vary depending on the lot.
The quality of the device used to make a preview of each fabric may alterate each article.
We highly recommend to pre-wash your fabrics before cutting and tailoring them to avoid the shrinkage once the item has been already created.
Dyeing and finishing of the fabrics
Maeko performs dyeing and sampling services. The first colour bath for sampling allows dyeing from 15-34 m of fabric.
Each dyeing process can be done on customer’s demand following R.E.A.C.H and G.O.T.S specifications.
