Part of the exclusive Maeko collection, the Mae Satin 144 is a prized fabric, now available as a end-of-line item. Crafted from a unique Biella yarn, this fabric intimately blends 50% GOTS certified hemp and 50% Aloe viscose, guaranteed by Oeko-Tex and FSC standards.

This composition gives the fabric an exceptionally soft and silky feel, lending a sophisticated and unmistakable appearance.

The natural colour, enriched with irregular shades, makes each fabric cut unique, bestowing a discreet and distinctive elegance. With a weight of 170 g/m² and a Satin weave, Mae 144 is the ideal choice for garments to wear in mild seasons.

Versatile and refined, this fabric is perfect for making trousers, skirts and dresses for the whole family, as well as for household linen and furnishings.

Recommended for artisanal dyeing.

Color tune and precautions

The color tune of the natural fabrics may vary depending on the lot.
The quality of the device used to make a preview of each fabric may alterate each article.
We highly recommend to pre-wash your fabrics before cutting and tailoring them to avoid the shrinkage once the item has been already created.

Washing tips

Dyeing and finishing of the fabrics

Maeko offers the possibility of dyeing fabrics and samples. The first bath allows to dye up to 10-34 mts of a fabric.

Each dyeing process can be done on customer’s demand following R.E.A.C.H and G.O.T.S specifications.
