Mengoni is a shuttle made of Reps armor, composed 100% of organic cotton, of which 70% comes from recycled material (GRS certified) and 30% from organic agriculture (OCS certified).

Its natural color reflects one of the fundamental values of Maeko’s philosophy: sustainability. Maeko is dedicated exclusively to the production of fabrics made from natural fibers, using high-quality and non-recycled yarns.

However, for the Mengoni products, a portion of recycled biological fibers has been introduced.

The Mengoni fabric is robust and durable, with a weight of 240 gr/m², which makes it ideal for the production of a wide range of clothing and accessories, both for personal use and for the home.

Thanks to its lightness, Mengoni is perfect for soft items such as trousers, lightweight jackets, vests, aprons and tablecloths of various shapes and uses.

It is also suitable for bags, shoppers, laundry bags, wallets and cases for glasses or cases.

Furthermore, Mengoni can be used to make uniforms and work aprons in the hotel industry, such as restaurants, hotels, bars and pastry shops, and it is also used in hobbies, for the creation of Nordic-inspired dolls, toys and games for children.
