Modugno Jersey is born from a yarn, in intimate blends, that is truly exclusive. Made in Biella, Italy, in our worsted wool-spinning mill, the Modugno yarn is designed and produced by Maeko, which combines Merino Wool Uruguay Mulesing Free GOTS, Hemp GOTS, and Mongolian Yak in the preparation of the roving.
The precious yarn that after being worked to make it soft and strong, gets loaded in 2 kg spools and then it’s driven for 80 km from Piedmont to Lombardy where one of the best knitwear factories of Somma Lombarda turns it in the Modugno Jersey.
Due to his precious features, this gorgeous Jersey is one of the most precious of our winter collection, it’s sold in the natural color given by the union of the three yarns, it has a reliable structure and it makes no pilling. è on sale in the natural colour created by mixing the three fibres, has a very reliable structure and does not pill.
It’s soft to the hand and has a weight of 200 gr , the Modugno Jersey is perfect to create warn winter clothing, offering an excellent thermal protection despite being light weight.

Color tune and precautions
The color tune of the natural fabrics may vary depending on the lot.
The quality of the device used to make a preview of each fabric may alterate each article.
We highly recommend to pre-wash your fabrics before cutting and tailoring them to avoid the shrinkage once the item has been already created.
Dyeing and finishing of the fabrics
Maeko performs dyeing and sampling services. The first colour bath for sampling allows dyeing from 15-34 m of fabric.
Each dyeing process can be done on customer’s demand following R.E.A.C.H and G.O.T.S specifications.
