We won, Made by shuttle using Reps armor, it stands out for its high-quality composition. It is composed of 55% Organic cotton, divided between recycled and organic agriculture. The remaining 45% is Hemp French, appreciated for its thermoregulatory, shielding, antibacterial properties and its robustness.
Presented in its natural color, Saimo represents Maeko’s commitment to sustainability. Production takes place entirely in Italy, using only natural fibers to create the yarn.
With a weight of 460 gr/m², Saimo is robust and versatile, suitable for many uses. In the softened version, it is perfect for jackets and shoulder pieces. It is an excellent choice for uniforms, work aprons and outdoor clothing such as gardening, as well as for accessories such as bags, clutches, cases and furniture items.

Color tune and precautions
The color tune of the natural fabrics may vary depending on the lot.
The quality of the device used to make a preview of each fabric may alterate each article.
We highly recommend to pre-wash your fabrics before cutting and tailoring them to avoid the shrinkage once the item has been already created.
Dyeing and finishing of the fabrics
Maeko performs dyeing and sampling services. The first colour bath for sampling allows dyeing from 15-34 m of fabric.
Each dyeing process can be done on customer’s demand following R.E.A.C.H and G.O.T.S specifications.
