To use them, they must be boiled in water, a process that can take from 30 minutes to several hours, depending on the plant and the desired colour intensity.
Generally, it is recommended to use 100 to 200 grams of herbs per litre of water per 100 grams of dry fabric. The indicated proportions are approximate and can be dosed according to the desired colour intensity. The amount of water should be 20-30 times the weight of the fabric.

Herbs and infusions available:

- Alkanna
- Broom
- Walnut
- Reseda
- Robbia
- Crushed cochineal

Soluble colouring extracts:

Soluble powdered extracts are ready-to-use compounds. Simply mix a specific amount of powdered extract with water, usually 20 to 50 grams per litre per 100 grams of fabric. It is important to note that although extracts are easy to use, the fabric will still have to be boiled to obtain the desired colour. Again, the proportions are approximate and can be adjusted depending on the desired colour intensity.

Extracts
