The Secret of the Red that creates the stars!
Discover the magic of Cocciniglia integra, Ungrounded or powdered: a precious raw material from which one of the most fascinating and historical natural dyes is obtained. This unique pigment derives from Dactylopius coccus, a small insect that lives on cacti and from which an intense and durable color is extracted.

During this process they release their coloring agent, carminic acid, turning the water into an intensely colored liquid. The resulting infusion offers a true liquid palette capable of generating vivid hues ranging from delicate pink to scarlet red, up to intense purple shades. The final hue can be modulated by varying the pH of the dyeing bath, offering ample creative possibilities.
